Benefits Forms

The District 19, OSSTF Benefits Plan is administered by Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP). All Peel Secondary Teachers are covered under Group Number 9170.

The Peel DSB provides a set amount of money for each full-time equivalent (FTE) secondary teacher. This money is used to pay for the employee's benefits. Booklets outlining the plan are available in the Your Group Benefit Plan document. A benefit information card must be filled out and submitted to CBO within 31 days from the date of hire. Anyone applying later is considered a late entrant.

The plan includes: EHB (Extended Health Benefit) which provides a drug plan with a drug card, vision care, hearing package, chiropractor, physiotherapy, massage, semi-private hospital room. Dental, which provides a three-category package with a limit of $2000/year/covered person. You can take a look at the Benefits-at-a-Glance document for more information.
